Robotics isn't for everyone. That's a problem we're trying to fix.

Growing up, we saw firsthand what happens when kids get access to hands-on STEM — and what happens when they don't. The curiosity is always there, but the opportunity isn't. Too many students in underserved communities have never built anything with their hands, never written a line of code, never had a reason to believe engineering could be for them. Not because they don't care, but because nobody ever put the right thing in front of them.

That gap is what Tinkren exists to close.

Rover One was built from scratch with one question driving every decision: does this make robotics more accessible, or less? The chassis, the code, the build guide, the price, all designed so that a parent can buy it without hesitation and a teacher can equip a whole club without a grant application. We tested it with real kids, rewrote the guide until a complete beginner could follow it start to finish, and priced it at a fraction of what bigger companies charge for less.

When you give kids a real chance to love something, you'd be surprised by how often they actually do. We've seen it. That's what this is about.
